An important 19th century French kingwood table de cabaret attributed to Francois Linke. Fine Kingwood parquetry decorated top with gilded bronze ribbon edge and large carrying handles. The Kingwood crossbanded decorative frieze below, centred with ormolu mounts, depicting rams, and basket of fruiting vine. Fine gilded corner chutes of floral swags, and garlands to a slender kingwood crossbanded cabriole leg, terminating in scrolling sabots. Stamped with index number 761 on both bronze handles. Paris
